      Thanks for sharing! The Shokz Opencomm 2 UC has become my go-to when driving and I have passengers. This allows me to hear the phone/meeting conversation, while still leaving my ears open to hear my surroundings. The answer is, there is no canceling of the noise in your ears while using the Opencomm2. Shokz recommends you wear ear plugs if you need to block/suppress background noise. Some clients use earbuds with ANC. I hope this helps.

      What's up, Joey?! I would like to get a better understanding so we can help. Do you have the Neat Board or Neat Frame? Is it in Zoom Rooms, or Teams Rooms mode? If you see all those icons, it's possible you are in Zoom Rooms mode. In which case we can help. Here's a video by Neat with Neat Board in Zoom Rooms mode accessing menu to adjust the boundaries. ruclips.net/video/7fae8-dJZ2c/видео.htmlsi=pQhpSyxVFPodVzPL To set up the Neat Boundary on a Neat Board running Zoom Rooms, you can do the following: Go to System settings Select Audio & Video Enable Auto framing Select Framing Boundary Adjust the Width and Depth options to create the desired boundary You can also use the How it works visual demo to learn more about the feature. You can only change camera settings during an active meeting. If you use the swipe menu outside of a meeting, your preferences won't be saved. However, you can enable or disable camera features outside of a meeting by going to the Neat level system settings.

      Here is the response from Jabra: Aug 22, 2024, 15:05 EDT Hi Danny, The mic design between Biz2400 first gen and gen II are that the first gen offered an omni directional mic and series II offered uni-directional mic. Both provide excellent microphone noise cancelling to minimize caller hearing noise around headset user. The noise cancelling is of course impacted by user appropriate positioning of mic, within 1-2 finger widths to lower lip and a reasonable dB level of mic audio presenting from the endpoint and/or software to which the headset is connected.

My experience with the Jabra evolve 75 is that if you connect the headset using the dongle the background noise cancelling works much better, in fact I believe that with Bluetooth almost does not reduce any background noise. Did you have the same experience? Cheers,

      @CallOneInc 4 дня назад

      Hi Santiago! Yes, I do my best to follow the manufacturers recommended setup. In this case, when using these Jabra Evolve2 series headsets with a computer, it's recommended you use the included USB dongle. The overall performance will be optimal especially when Jabra Direct software and headset/dongle firmware are up to date. And yes, that is my experience. There are multiple variables that can impact the performance when pairing directly with a laptop including differences in Bluetooth versions, and lack of required Bluetooth Profiles, and Remote Call Control capabilities.

    • @CallOneInc

      Hi Tee! YES! Normally these demos and tests only include the performance of the headset microphone without any additional AI Noise Suppression. However, these headsets are designed and certified for collaboration platforms/applications like Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. The primary reason the majority of our clients need headsets are for use with Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and other leading business collaboration platforms. Recently both Teams and Zoom introduced Teams Voice Isolation, and Zoom Personalized Audio Isolation, so I will also include recordings of what it sounds like with those features turned on. Beyond, those platforms, what are you using to make/take voice and video calls while using a headset?

    Hello from Argentina Danny. I love your videos. Just a quick question. • @CallOneInc
      @CallOneInc 9 дней назад

      What's up, Santiago! Thanks for watching and supporting our channel! Most of the time, when Jabra Evolve2 Series users experience issues, it involves software/firmware updates. Some are not allowed to download Jabra Direct and make updates, and some aren't aware of this. I have been using the Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex and Evolve2 55 and have yet to experience issues. However, based on my tests, the Logitech Zone Wireless 2 is a solid-performing headset. It has better ANC speakers than the Evolve2 75. Still, they are also a little heavier, with the Evolve2 75 weighing 197g and the Logitech Zone Wireless 2 weighing 230g. The Zone Wireless 2 has a better-performing NC mic because it is longer and closer to the edge of your mouth. I'm currently in Ohio on my work-from-anywhere tour and will be revisiting the coffee shop where I filmed this video ruclips.net/video/en7eUYCYBTY/видео.html and will be testing a whole new batch of headsets, including the Logitech Zone Wireless 2! Informative video, thank you! I am leaning towards the 65 Flex model, but can you tell me your opinion on which headset has the best ANC and Background noise combo? The background noise suppression is the most important but I seem to get easily thrown off if I can also hear my coworker sitting next to me on their call. So looking for something that has both, if that exists. Any model / recommendation is appreciated!

    • @CallOneInc
      @CallOneInc 9 дней назад

      Hello! Thanks so much for watching! Active Noise Canceling (ANC) technology is designed to reduce certain types of background noise, primarily low-frequency, consistent sounds like the hum of an air conditioner, the rumble of an engine, or the drone of an HVAC system. It works by using microphones to detect external noise, then generating sound waves that are the exact opposite (anti-noise) to cancel it out. However, ANC is less effective at blocking higher-frequency, irregular sounds like human voices. This is because speech involves a wide range of frequencies that vary quickly in tone and volume, making it more challenging for ANC to counteract. While ANC can help reduce the overall noise level, it won't completely eliminate the sound of someone talking nearby. That's why, even with ANC headphones, voices can still be heard, though they may be less distracting. For better voice suppression, passive noise isolation, such as over-ear or in-ear designs that physically block sound, can help alongside ANC. I've tested headsets, earbuds and headphones with ANC speakers from Bose, Sony, Jabra, EPOS, Yealink, Logitech, Apple, HP Poly and more! NONE were able to block/suppress 100% of human voice. Now, when I am streaming audio at louder volumes, it seems like I can't hear anything in the background. You have to prioritize what is more critical, what YOU hear or what the people on the other end of the call hear. The Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex is a great hybrid work headset because it's small form factor when folded makes it easy to transport between locations. The Jabra Evolve2 55 i feel has a better noise canceling (NC) mic. Of course the EPOS Impact 1000 series have the best performing NC mics (IMO) and the ANC is decent. It's no Bose or Sony. Headsets like the Jabra Evolve2 85, EPOS Adapt 660 and HP Poly Voyager 80 and 85 models due a better job with ANC but their microphones are not as strong as the others in really noisy environments. I hope this helps but ultimately, you decide what is most important. (Don't forget about comfort - Evolve2 65 Flex are super comfortable)

      Great question. I have performed mic tests with recorded crying babies however, nothing compares to an real baby in the room crying. Crying babies can reach as high as 120 decibels! One of the videos I plan on making is testing various headset mics in a daycare with actual babies and children. However, based on the tests I've done, no headset completely blocks 100% of crying babies. However, I have not tested with the new Teams Voice Isolation and Zoom Personalized Audio Isolation AI Noise Suppression. The EPOS Impact 1000 models have performed the best across multiple noisy environments. The Jabra Evolve2 50, Evolve2 55, Yealink WH64, Yealink BH70, Shokz Opencomm2 UC, and Logitech Zone Wireless 2 also perform well in noisy environments. What is your use case can working environment?

No headset I have tested blocks 100% of background noise especially higher pitched sounds like barking dogs and crying babies. Parrots can produce deafening loud sounds.

      Great question! The answer is, “It depends.” For example, I’ve been driving in a car on the interstate while on Zoom, Teams and Google Meet meetings on my mobile paired to my Shokz Opencomm2 UC and the speaker audio was better than expected. I have been walking near really noisy streets with cars and trucks zipping by, and it’s very difficult if not impossible to hear. If you are in an extremely noisy environment while using Shokz Opencomm2 UC, I recommend wearing earplugs. I hope this helps. Hello, I wanted to ask which headset would you recommend if money doesn’t matter. I work in a loud call center environment and sometimes I have to work in a loud cafe shop as well; which gets extremely loud. Do you recommend the Epos Impact 1061 TC anc or the Evolve2 Headset Jabra 55 or another headset? My main concerns are that the headset doesn’t pick up any background noises on the microphone and that I am able to hear the client clearly. Second (not as important as the other concern) is comfort for wearing it all day. Thanks @calloneinc!

      Thank you for the quick response. I will be mostly using the headset utilizing Zendesk integration for calls. Therefore, it doesn’t have any noise cancellation built into their system which is why I’m shopping for a great headset for noise reduction. Also I will be pairing my headset mostly into a Macbook laptop with a USB-C and audio jack. If needed, I can utilize a USB-B adapter, however would prefer USB-C headset if it has capability or Bluetooth. Thanks again

      @@Sujin-h2k the EPOS Impact 1000 Series (wireless), 800 Series (corded) and 700 Series (corded) have the best noise canceling mics I have tested. As good as they are, they do not block 100% of background noise. A nice feature of the corded Impact 800 & 700 series is they include USB-C and USB-A in the box. The EPOS Impact 1000 includes a USB-A Bluetooth dongle. There is an option to buy an EPOS BTD 800 USB-C dongle separately. Comfort is subjective but based on my tests and customer feedback, the Jabra Evolve2 50 Series (corded), Evolve2 55 (wireless) and Evolve2 65 Flex are much more comfortable for all day wear. The Yealink WH64 and BH70 are also very comfortable for all day wear and have pretty solid noise canceling mics but no ANC (Active Noise Cancelling speakers). • @jonathanmarino7968
      @jonathanmarino7968 16 дней назад

      @@CallOneInc In my limited experience with Bluetooth headsets, they usually come with two "profiles", one called "headphones" (2 channel high quality audio) and one called "handsfree/communications" (1 channel audio, 1 channel for the microphone input). The headset appears as two distinct devices, but only one profile can be in use at any one moment. As a result, there's a noticeable degradation of audio quality whenever you activate your microphone (e.g. join a zoom/teams call). Additionally, the duality of the headset can cause friction when it comes to adjusting volume (separate per "device") and even selecting the correct output device (stereo device wont work if you're using the mic). My understanding is that this all stems from limitations of (older) Bluetooth. In modern Bluethooth implementations there should be plenty of bandwidth for both stereo sound and microphone input simultaneously (full-duplex), however from what I can find online there are still plenty of issues with this. It seems you need some lucky combination of operating system, Bluetooth hardware (built-in or dongle) and headset for it to work fully. With these issues in mind, I've seen lots of people specifically recommend getting (gaming) headsets with proprietary wireless connections, like logitech LIGHTSPEED, since these don't have to conform to the limitations of Bluetooth. This is why I was curious about the dongle included with this headset - does it make a difference? I suspect it may just be a Bluetooth dongle, in which case obviously it doesn't address any of the issues mentioned above.. I would love to hear your thoughts on this, and if possible can you confirm if you are able to hear stereo audio while using the microphone?

For business calls/voice calls, I am not a fan of ANY earbuds. If you will primarily be using them to listen, the Jabra Evovle2 Buds provided the best overall audio performance based on my tests. The Poly Voyager Free 60+ has a slight edge in overall mic transmit performance compared to Evolve2 Buds and the touchscreen charging case makes a compelling reason for easier manageability of the various functions like mute, ANC, volume, Play/Pause, Next track, etc. However, those options are also available via the Jabra Sound+ and Poly Lens Mobile Apps.
